I singlehandedly run Wildflower, and I'm so grateful that to be able to turn my experience of hair loss into something so positive, allowing me to connect with so many people around the world going through the same thing in the process!

I always loved my long, thick hair, and when it started falling out rapidly at age eighteen I was devastated and my confidence plummeted. After years of self hatred, stress and pinning my hopes on each new ‘miracle cure’ I could get in the hopes of regrowing my hair, I stumbled on a couple of women sharing their hair loss stories online. I was so shocked to learn that other women were going through the same thing as I was.

(In the time between now and then I have connected with thousands more women, and I now realize that hair loss is so common and not something to feel ashamed or embarrassed about. If you’re in that position right now please know that you’re not alone!)

I saw that some of these women were trying out wigs and toppers and were enjoying them, and I didn’t have anything to lose, so I bought a wig and it changed my life! My hair was a source of negativity for me for years, and all of a sudden I was feeling confident and positive and excited about my hair again, which was such a relief.

I started an instagram account shortly after to share my experience wearing wigs, and soon realized there was a lack of realistic, non synthetic wigs on offer in the UK and decided to start Wildflower in 2019.

Since then I’ve shipped hundreds and hundreds of wigs and toppers all over the world, and continue to develop some of the most realistic hair loss options that I’m proud to wear myself!

Wildflower is truly a labour of love, and an accumulation of my years of experience wearing wigs and toppers first hand.

I put up to ten hours of color, cutting and restyling work into each piece I list, ensuring it feels as natural as possible. I studio photograph, video and meticulously list each item and then package it up when it’s ready to go to its new home. I also spend my days chatting and advising you lovely people via emails all day!
