Custom orders
As a small, independent brand, I keep my in-stock collection small so I can offer the highest quality pieces without holding huge quantities.
However, if you’re looking for something more specific, custom orders are the perfect option. We can create toppers in the base size, length, density and colour you need, as well as wigs in a range of constructions, cap sizes, lengths and shades. Whether you want a piece that matches your own hair closely or something completely new, custom orders allow you to personalise your wig or topper.
Custom order timeline:
Step 1: Order
We'll work together to determine the perfect piece tailored to your needs. During this step, we'll consider your desired color, fit, comfort, and lifestyle to ensure your wig or topper looks and feels just right. Consultations can be done via email or video call- whichever works best for you! I'm here to guide you through every detail to create a truly personalized result.
You will be provided with a quote, of which a half payment is due to start the order.
Step 2: Production
Now for the hardest part- waiting! Once your order is confirmed, production begins. This process takes approximately 10–14 weeks, as each piece is carefully crafted from scratch.
We source only the highest quality hair and use gentle, low impact coloring methods to preserve the hair’s health and integrity. Elements such as hand knotting are completed, ensuring a natural look and comfortable fit.
Step 3: Final touches
During this stage, we complete the final colour tweaks, cut and styling, and I’ll reach out for any additional measurements needed.
The remaining balance is due at this stage.
You’ll receive photos and videos of the completed piece, and if you'd like any small tweaks before shipping these will be completed for you. After this, it will be lovingly packaged and sent on its way to you.
How long does a custom order take?
Custom orders typically take 10-14 weeks to complete. Each piece is carefully crafted, from sourcing the finest hair to the final cut and styling. This timeline allows us to ensure every detail meets the highest standards before it arrives at your door.
How do I choose a colour?
Choosing a colour can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to make it easy. Whether you want to match your natural hair or you have an inspiration photo in mind, I’ll help guide you to the closest and most realistic option. Some colours aren’t always achievable in wigs and toppers, but I’ll always give honest advice about what’s possible, what will last well, and what kind of maintenance to expect. My goal is to make sure you feel fully informed and confident in your colour choice.
For advice on your closest colour match, simply email me at wildflowerhair1@gmail.com with a few photos of your hair in both indoor and natural daylight. I’ll review them carefully and guide you toward the most suitable colour, along with any advice on cap size and other custom details.
Can I make changes after ordering?
Because each piece is made to your exact specifications, cap and colour changes cannot be made once your order has been confirmed. Changes to cut can be made closer to the time of completion.
How much does a custom order cost?
Pricing for custom pieces varies depending on factors like length, color, cap size and cut. There is a £50 custom order surcharge to cover the creation of a one of a kind piece by my factory, which is additional to the typical price you'd find the same piece as an 'in stock' item priced at. After we narrow down the details, I’ll provide a full quote based on your chosen option.
Can I create a custom order for a Wildflower topper or wig that i've ordered in the past?
Yes, absolutely! If you have ordered a particular topper or wig in the past and would like the same item again, feel free to re order this to be made for you as a custom order.
Are returns or exchanges allowed on custom pieces?
Due to the personalized nature of custom orders, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
