All Wildflower toppers and wigs are meticulously inspected prior to shipping, and it is very unlikely that a fault will present itself due to this.

Wildflower toppers and wigs are handcrafted from delicate materials and it is the customer’s responsibility to care for their topper or wig in line with the care guide, to ensure their piece lasts as long as possible. Minor shedding, tangling, or slight changes in texture are normal for all human hair pieces and are not considered faults.

Some Wildflower toppers and wigs are processed and colored, and each piece takes to and holds color differently, just like our own hair would vary from person to person. This means that colors may fade at varying times and require color maintenance. Colors may also oxidize over time due to exposure to the sun. These are not faults; they are a normal part of topper and wig upkeep.

Wildflower toppers and wigs are not intended to be permanently sewn into the hair and do not have the same construction as a hair system. They must be removed each night. Sleeping in a topper or wig will cause friction to the silk top, which may result in shedding. Not removing the piece each night and failing to clean your own scalp regularly can also cause scalp oil to soak into the silk top, which may contribute to shedding.

Wildflower wigs and toppers only need to be washed every 3-4 weeks. Washing as frequently as you wash your own hair can result in dryness, brittleness, and breakage. When washing, avoid scrubbing or applying product directly to the silk top or wefting area. Only apply conditioner to the mids and ends of the hair, and ensure it does not touch the silk top, knots, or construction.

Pieces should be stored on a wig stand or in a breathable bag when not in use to maintain their shape and longevity. Heat styling should be done carefully, following the instructions provided, to prevent damage. Occasional professional styling or maintenance may help keep your piece in optimal condition.

In the event that your piece is used contrary to these guidelines and begins to shed or deteriorate, Wildflower is not responsible and will be unable to offer a repair.

In the event of a fault, Wildflower will provide a shipping label for your piece to be assessed, and a repair may be offered. If we are unable to repair the piece and the issue is deemed a manufacturing fault, a refund will be issued. If it is deemed a care or maintenance issue, a refund will not be offered and the piece will be shipped back to you.
